Homework:
Rocket Math Fact Sheet. Please review with your child. It is recommended not to work on math facts for more than 5 minutes. If you wish to do a second session, wait at least one hour and try again or review in the morning. If there are any fact families your child is struggling with, please have them write them out 10 times each.
Read a book for 10 minutes.
It was another busy day in Third grade! We had Computers, Gym, Math, English, Social Studies and still had time to go outside for recess! The children loved the time to run and play and it was well deserved!
Permission Slips:
If you have not returned your child's permission slip for the walking field trip to Wealthy School Auditorium, please sign and have your student bring it in tomorrow. This is for a dress rehearsal of our Christmas program which is next week on Monday (8:30 AM-11:30 AM), the 21st of December. Children are asked to arrive at Wealthy Auditorium no later than 6:15PM on Monday evening for the "real" show dressed in their Sunday best! The program will start promptly at 6:30PM.
We are still collecting new socks for our Third Grade Sock Drive. All socks will be brought down to God's Kitchen. Our drive will continue through this Friday, the 18th. A big THANK YOU thus far to all who have donated!
Reminder: The pj/spirit day will be on Friday the 18th (this week). Children are allowed to wear pajamas or SSS spirit apparel and jeans if they wish.
