Homework
1. Continue to work on Mini Economy portfolios. The portfolios are due by Friday.
2. Book Box/Book Report Project- if your student has not chosen a book to read for this project, please have him/her do so this evening. Refer to the project handout which was sent home earlier this week for details.
3. Rocket Math - We are working on subtraction in Rocket Math. Each student is working on a different sheet. Please have your child practice out loud with someone and write any facts 5 or 10 times each that they are having difficulties with. It is recommended that students only work on Rocket Math in 5 minute increments. If your child needs more review, we ask you take a break of 1-2 hours and then have them return to the math.
4. Spelling this week is a review of all of the units we have studied thus far as well as the 7 continents. There will be a test this Friday.
Casual Day will be this Friday, January 8th. "Principal for the Day", Carl Shadowens, has requested this event. (Principal for the Day is an auction item from the M. Alt Dinner). Students are allowed to wear jeans.
