Homework
1. Spelling City is up to date. Unit 18 was a review. The children were tested on this unit and the majority of the class passed. Therefore, we will be testing on Unit 19 this week Friday.
2. Page 120 and 121 in your spelling book needs to be completed for tomorrow. Also, please copy the first 6 sentences in your spelling book perfectly. All sentences need to start with a capital letter and end with the correct punctuation. Please skip lines and be as neat as can be. Make certain your Spelling Books come back to class with you tomorrow.
2. Please continue to read your President's book and take notes on chapter 3. You should have a minimum of 3 good events that took place in the chapter. President books need to come back to class daily.
3. Work on multiplication flash cards. If you do not have any at home, please make some! Ask a grown-up for help! Start with the 2's and then move on to the 5's!
Miscellaneous
We hope you had a great mid-winter break and enjoyed the sunshine today. The children were excited to be back with their friends and got down to work quickly. It was a busy and productive day.

Hi and welcome to Katie's corner!
Today we had for our specials Spanish, music and liturgical music. We also had a math test. At 1:30 we had recces. After recces we watched a movie about George Washington because yesterday was his birthday! We had another math test at the end of the day.
