Homework
1. President books. As mentioned yesterday, all of the students received a book on a U.S.
President. Please have your child continue reading his or her book. Your student has
been assigned to read through at least chapter 1 tonight and answer the following questions:
* Who is the first chapter about?
* Where does the first chapter mostly take place?
* Name two events that took place in the first chapter.
2. The math sheet needs to be completed (page 35 only) and returned tomorrow.
3. Study Spelling Unit 17. There will be a test tomorrow ( Tuesday).
Miscellaneous
This Friday, February 12th, we will be having a Valentines party. We have asked the room moms to coordinate what we will need for this party, so please be on the lookout for an e-mail or a call from Mrs. Mish or Mrs. Portinga. We will be exchanging cards and we ask that you send in cards for all of the children in the class, if possible. A list of all students has been sent home with your child today. Please check his or her blue alert.
March hot lunch forms are due tomorrow.
