Homework
1. Spelling City is up to date. There will be a test on Friday.
2. Spelling books went home today. Page 159 needs to be completed. Also, we need a 1 page paper entitled, My Bad Day. Please skip lines and use at least 3 spelling words. Neatness counts! Spelling books must come back with you to school tomorrow.
3. Math- Study set M (multiplication sheet received yesterday). There will be a 1 minute test tomorrow.
Miscellaneous
Visiting authors: Grace Strong and Tatiana Hogeterp
Today we read with our "book buddies" from the 4th and 5th grades. We worked on fractions and we corrected our math papers. We had computer and music classes. We read lots and lots.

The children are working on line graphs, multiplication, and fractions in math. They are working very hard in preparation for 4th grade. Please continue to work on their multiplication facts.
Part of the 3rd grade Religion Curriculum requires the students to memorize the Apostles Creed. Once your child is able to recite the prayer to Mrs. Balck or Mrs. Strong they will receive a candy bar or some type of sweet that they have indicated they like. Please encourage your child to learn this powerful profession of all Christian faiths!
