Homework tonight for third graders:
1. Finish the first draft of your friendly letter.
2. Memorize your own address, and the spelling of your city and street!
3. Math Fact sheet at your own level.
Dear Parents and Friends,
Tomorrow is the second day of Catholic Schools Week. We will have an enrichment program on Abraham Lincoln and we will practice writing short letters. Your student should have a draft of a letter and the assigned homework is to work on a second draft. We do not do sloppy copies! The children should try to make the drafted letter as perfect as they can and then ask you to proofread it for them. They will do the final draft tomorrow in class.
Some of the children decided to write a letter for Education First, and that is a great idea for Catholic Schools Week.
Have a wonderful evening!
