We really liked the rain forest outside our door.

We had a great time at the science fair! It was amazing to see teachers, aides, and parents work so hard on the projects and the rain forest. They produced such a wondrous place for the children and adults to be. They encouraged us to do our best on our reports and drawings of the rain forest.

Lent is a time of prayer, fasting, and giving alms. Even third graders have the ability to understand and do all of the special things that Lent asks of us.

No formal homework for the rest of the week! This does not mean that students should do no reading or math at home or on the road! Math computation and reading good books should be a big part of this week at home and on Spring Break! Travel is almost always educationally profitable

We hope that you have a blessed and happy break.

Sincerely,
The third-graders and Mrs. B.
