Your students have an opportunity to memorize the Preamble to the U.S Constitution. They may even receive a small treat if they can recite it from memory. They have a copy of the Preamble in their Red Alerts.
We had a good week learning a little about American History and the Constitution.
The children took their first timed math-facts test today. We will graph the results in class and you will be able to see their progress in a few weeks.
The children made some cards for Deacon Dale. He came to see the third-graders and you could tell that he really loved the cards they made for him and the prayers offered for him.
The third-graders and Mrs. Harju also skyped an author and the children asked the author good questions. They did a such a nice job.
