Homework: Rocket Math Set O. Please complete the Fact Families 4+3, 3+4, 6+7, 7+6 ten times each. Remind your student(s) to write out the fact families as Mrs. Balck has instructed.
Example: 4+3=7 6+7=13
3+4=7 7+6=13
7-4=3 13-7=6
7-3=4 13-6=7
What a fantastic fall day! The children were busy today with spelling, religion, science, Spanish, computers, social studies, and math! We still managed to get in two great recesses and enjoy the autumn colors.
The Third Grade Newsletter is coming home today. Please note in particular our upcoming field trip scheduled for November 4th (we are in need of parent drivers). Permission slips and more information will be coming home in the next few days.
Please have your child(ren) visit Spelling City for Unit 8 words. We are still working on the spelling of the 7 continents, so please make certain your student(s) are studying these names as well.
Please spend at least 5 minutes each day on addition and subtraction math facts. This is so important. We will then move on to multiplication!
