Some children have not completed reading their books, but that is fine. They still must write the report up to the point of where they are, and with the above information included. The children should state they have not completed the book. Also, each child will give a 1 minute oral book report tomorrow in front of the class. Mrs. Balck has reassurred them that 1 minute is very quick and to give the same specifics as their written report.
Please have your child work on his/her math facts. 10 times each for any facts they do not know.
Finally, there will be a spelling test tomorrow. Remember to check Spelling City for Unit 9 words.
Bookfair is still going on. Special persons day is tomorrow as well as the collection of quarters. Thus far, the school as a whole has donated over $250.00 to Toys for Tots and K.I.D.S. Wow! What a great job.
Casual Day is tomorrow. Believe it or not, it is already the last Friday of the month. Next week we will be in school only on Monday and Tuesday with the remainder of the week off to celebrate Thanksgiving.
