Homework: Please have your child review his/her math fact sheets. Please do not write on the sheets; rather read to your child each problem and have her or him give you the answer as quickly as possible. At the top of the sheets are fact families. Please have your child write them out 10 times each. Remember to skip a line in between each set and be as neat as can be.
Example:
6+4=10
4+6=10
10-4=6
10-6=4
Please have your child read aloud for 10 minutes.
We had a very busy day. We worked on math, science, religion, computers and much more. After computers, we had a presentation by the author/ storyteller/performer Kevin Kammeraad. Kevin is a Grand Rapids author who wrote The Tomato Collection. It was an awesome presentation. Ask your child all about it!
The Book Fair continues tomorrow. We reminded the children to bring in dimes for the daily collection. All monies collected will go to Toys for Tots and K.I.D.S. So far our class has been extremely generous. Thank you!
