* Spelling City is up to date. We are on Unit 23. There will be a test on Friday.
1. Please complete spelling pages 144 and 145.
2. Continue to work on the multiplication tables. You should now know the 0, 1, 2, 3, 5, and 9 's.
3. Please request assistance with your letter of application for Mini Economy. You should be done with your pre-write. Now start working on Draft 2. Ask your folks if they will help you by editing Draft 2! The final letter will be due this Wednesday.
Miscellaneous
Read and Give is a marvelous program being sponsored by area businesses in partnership with local schools. In an effort to increase reading in homes of local children who may not be able to afford books, St. Stephen students have been asked to donate some of their used books. Our collection will run from today, March 22nd through March 31st. Please consider donating to this great cause. The class with most books collected will win an ice cream party!
Tomorrow, March 23rd, the John Ball Park Traveling Zoo will be at St. Stephen school. The 3rd grade will be "visiting" the zoo at approximately 9:00 A.M. in the Konrad rooms.
Believe it or not, this Friday (March 26th) is the last Friday in the month of March, so that means casual day! Enjoy!
The Star Stride 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, April 17th. This is the first annual 5K race sponsored by St. Stephen's Star Fund scholarship program. All proceeds will benefit this fund which helps those in need of tuition assistance. On-line registration is available on the St. Stephen home page. Please consider participating in this great event!
