1. There will be a spelling test tomorrow. Review Spelling City, Unit 28.
2. Work on your Business Day signs.
3. Please bring in a small piece of clothing. Mrs. Birnie is coming in tomorrow to speak to the class regarding free-trade. We want the children to bring in the clothing with labels on, to see where they are made. We will be pointing out where these countries are on the map. Please do not bring in uniforms since the majority of those are probably made in the same country.
Important Notes and Reminders
Please remember to work on Business Day preparations. All green business applications should have been turned in today. If for some reason you have not completed and signed this form, please do so and return it no later than tomorrow. We are only allowing 1 of each type of business (possibly 2 if they are a bit different). Yesterday's blog as well as the note that went home with your students on Wednesday outlines Business Day in detail. Please feel free to see Mrs. Balck or Mrs. Strong if you have any additional questions. Reminder, Business Day is next week Wednesday, May 19th. Hours are from 10:00-1:00.
Mark your calendars! The St. Stephen Golf Outing will be held May 21st. Please see the Link or call the school office for more details! All are welcome to participate or volunteer!
We are still in need of volunteers as well as grills for the Madden Track and Field Day which will be held on May 28th. Remember, this is a 1/2 day with 12:00 PM dismissal.
It is not too late to participate in the St. Stephen Education First Fund Raiser. Please consider sending out letters or bringing in your own personal contribution. This is the main fund raiser for St. Stephen School and all of our students benefit directly from the proceeds. Any contribution is greatly appreciated!
