1. Please review Spelling City, Unit 27. There will be a test tomorrow.
2. A requirement for the third grade is the memorization of the Apostle's Creed. This is a universal Christian prayer which professes our faith. When a student can recite it correctly to Mrs. Balck, he or she will earn a treat.
3. You may wish to work with your child to develop a business plan for the Third Grade Business Day coming on Wednesday, May 19th. Check your student's Blue Alert for pages that may help you help your child.
Miscellaneous
Mark your calendar for the following dates:
- Tomorrow, Friday the 7th of May is the Third Grade Parent Mixer at the Lake's house. Festivities start at 7:00 PM. Please bring something to drink and a munchie to share.
- May 19th is the Third Grade Business Day. If your child has not started thinking about what he or she can sell, please start considering it in the next few days. Please see the worksheets for creating a business in your student's Blue Alert!
- The St. Stephen Golf Outing is scheduled for May 21st. For more information, please contact the school office.
- Our annual Awards Ceremony is scheduled for May 26th in the church. This is a ceremony that celebrates the fabulous students we have here at St. Stephen. All are invited!
- The Madden Track and Field Day will be held May 28th followed by an all-school picnic. Dismissal will be at 12:00 PM. Remember, this is the long Memorial Day weekend as well.
- The final day of school is June 4th with an 11:00 dismissal.
