Homework tonight!

Your homework for tonight is to edit the Second Draft of your spooky story!

Be sure to ask an adult to help you edit your second draft. Try to make your draft as perfect as you can. We will not do a published copy until:

• words are spelled correctly,
• capital letters are used accurately , and
  
• there are no errors in punctuation .
• Line your sentences up to the red line on your paper, except for the first line of a paragraph! That first line should be indented!
• Leave every other line blank. In other words, skip a line after every written line.

We have begun Spelling Unit 8. Unit 8 words are on Spelling City. Your student should be able to tell you the spelling pattern for this unit.
