There is one homework assignment tonight!
It is a two-sided math worksheet (page 20) ! Please do the R 2-5 side first as it is a teaching sheet.
There will be no formal spelling test tomorrow on Spelling Unit 9! We will continue to study the spelling pages in class and I will give the formal test next week. The test will involve writing sentences for up to 5 of the words.
If possible, use IXL to study math facts for 6 or 7 minutes a few nights each week.
Please try to have your student read something, every day. Five to fifteen minutes is a good amount of time to read for a third-grader.
Please notice the orange paper which reviews the St. Stephen Uniform Code. Some of our students are coming to school with inappropriate shoes that don't run, jump, play or go to gym class very well.
Now that snow is getting to be a real possibility, you may want to send a used pair of sneakers or gym shoes to school to be kept here for snow and gym days. You should write your student's name on the shoes if you choose this option. If your child comes to school in boots, and without shoes to change into, you may get a call from the office to bring shoes to school!
